Funding Opportunity for Potential Extramural Projects (PEP)

                        Evaluation of Pregnant and Postpartum Women's Use of State Quitlines 

The focus of this PEP is to assess knowledge of and barriers to referring patients to a state quitline among prenatal care providers, and the use of the quitline among prenatal and postpartum smokers in one state. Members of the following organizations are eligible to apply: Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH), and Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR). Please consult the detailed project description for additional eligibility criteria. The approximate total project period is one year and funding is $100,000.  One award will be given.

Letters of intent are due by January 18, and applications will be due in March 14th.
