In 2008, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists formed a Working Group of state-of-the-art simulation centers, with the goal of developing and validating a variety of Obstetrics and Gynecologic simulation based curricula. The Working Group has a maximum of 25 centers located across the United States. The Simulations Working Group continues to work to increase emphasis on patient safety and risk management concerns and promote teaching strategies to ensure that providers develop a solid foundation in teamwork, effective communication, basic surgical techniques, and demonstration of skill competencies before they participate in actual surgical skills and procedures on real patients. We also serve as a resource to ACOG and assist in other areas where simulation may be beneficial. The ACOG Simulations Working Group is dedicated to the development and implementation of unique, standardized, and validated simulations-based curricula as an adjunct to improve residency education and clinical competence beyond residency. To post a message to all the list members, send email to simulations@listserv.acog.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Simulations
Subscribe to Simulations by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
